Sleep Data Services
We appreciate your interest in our sleep diagnostic and CPAP services. Sleep Data has helped pioneer the in-home diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAS), nationwide, since our inception in 1995. In 2005 Sleep Data began dispensing a complete line of CPAP and Bi-level equipment.
We have established excellent working relationships with physicians, medical groups, insurers, and patients. Our goal is to provide the highest quality services in the most cost-efficient manner. Our model allows for monies that have traditionally been spent on diagnostics to be spent on therapy and imroved education and follow up. We welcome the opportunity to speak with you as to how we can help you with your sleep testing and CPAP needs.
Our home-based sleep apnea testing utilizes a multi-channel cardiopulmonary recorder that monitors all of the channels recommended by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). These studies can be performed on adults, and children of all ages using appropriate sensors. Our unique shipping model allows us to perform these studies nationwide. Detailed instructions accompany the recorder to assist in the performance of the study. And, Sleep Data staff are on-call 24 hours a day to further assist patients as necessary.
Once a study has been completed the raw data are analyzed, manually scored, and reviewed. A detailed report, including a recommended starting CPAP pressure is produced by a physician specializing in Sleep Medicine and is sent to the referring physician. This usually occurs within 72 hours of study completion.
Once a diagnosis of OSAS is made, patients in the southern California area can be referred for CPAP therapy. Sleep Data dispenses a complete line of CPAP, Bi-level, Auto-PAP, and Adapt SV units from all of the major manufacturers.
Diagnosing and treating OSAS patients requires a comprehensive team approach. We work especially hard to facilitate the overall care of the patient. This is accomplished through close working relationships with our patients, physicians, and the insurers. Over the last fifteen years Sleep Data has continually improved on protocols for patient education and follow up services.
