Since you are reading this we assume that you are curious about the process of taking a home sleep study. When you arrive for your scheduled appointment, you will have a 10-15 min long demonstration about how to use the device and what to expect from your test.

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions
Q- Where do I take the sleep study?
A- You will take the sleep study in the privacy of your own home. This will provide Sleep Data with a representative example your average night.
Q- Can my spouse stay in bed with me when I take the study?
A- Yes. Besides wearing the device, this should be a normal night for you.
Q- Can my pet share the bed as per usual.
A- Yes. Following the advice given in your in-office demonstration, your belts will be form-fitting, leaving very little excess equipment that might excite your pet.
Q- Does the device make any noise?
A- No. Apart from the initial beep when the device is plugged in, there is no noise. If you’ve picked your sleep study up from either Sleep Data location Mon-Thurs, your machine has been pre-programmed for you and is already plugged in. You will NOT hear a beep. If your machine has been shipped to you, OR you’ve picked your machine up on a Friday you’ll be required to plug the device in yourself.
